Me2 - 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design
Universally designed play environments that apply the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design can positively impact children’s play experiences. Developed in partnership with PlayCore and Utah State University’s Center for Persons with Disabilities, these guidelines move play environments beyond minimum accessibility to provide equitable play opportunities so that ALL children can benefit from developmental benefits of play.
National Demonstration Site - 7 Principles of Inclusive Design
PlayCore’s National Demonstration Site program was conceived to recognize thoughtfully planned outdoor play environments that ensure that people of all ages and abilities can be physically and socially active through play and recreation. Communities that are recognized can create positive attention and attract partners and funding that support this social capital.
