Play & Park’s Timeline

History in the Making

When you invest in a new playground, you want a system built to last for years to come. That requires two non-negotiables: quality play equipment and a brand name you can trust for continual innovation and maintenance support.

Play & Park Structures offers both.

We’ve been a reputable, dependable brand for nearly five decades. With the support of our parent company PlayCore — the largest recreation equipment manufacturer in North America — there’s no doubt we’ll remain a leader in the industry for decades more.

See the incredible strides we’ve made in our yesterdays — and what’s in store for tomorrow.

We partnered with Easterseals of South Florida Child Development Center to build our largest inclusive playground to date. This was the first in the area to utilize a roller slide, allowing children with cochlear implants to enjoy the feeling of sliding without conflict.

Play & Park Structures began to utilize the playground created in partnership with our parent company, PlayCore, and Utah State University. The program defined design principles based on the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design. That same year, we began an awareness campaign teaching educators and recreation professionals the importance of building inclusive play spaces.
