Northwoods Academy’s playground site was dedicated to a former Northwoods Academy teacher, Cherry McLure Slover, who passed away in 2007.

The Academy received a $12,000 grant for the site, and Principal Tricia Storey describes the overall space as a ‘boundless playground’, where children of all abilities have the opportunity to play and explore.
