Rocket Park Playground

Rocket Park is a school and park partnership used by several therapeutic groups in the area as well as schools. The updated safety surfacing, ramps, and space-themed amenities chosen for the New Rocket Park were more expensive than the bare basics, but as the park and recreation staff mentioned, the investment was well worth it. Revamped Rocket Park opened in the spring of 2010, and is now one of the top three most visited and utilized parks in the city.
