First Responders Park in El Centro, CA— also known as Michael Benavidez Memorial Park—was designed to honor frontline heroes through inclusive play. Built using the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design, the space promotes active, multigenerational play through accessible routes, sensoryrich features, and shared spaces that foster comfort and connection for all.
